Jordon Hudson Has ‘Informed At Least One Individual’ That She and Bill Belichick Are Engaged: Report
Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick: Wedding Bells or Just a Rumor?
Waking up to a flurry of speculation is something I’m almost used to now, but the buzz around Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick has been more persistent than most. The chatter about their potential engagement is making the rounds once again, thanks to a piece in The New York Times. According to journalist Katherine Rosman, Hudson might have let slip to at least one person that she and Belichick are engaged. It’s one of those moments where you wonder if it’s really happening or just another chapter in their ongoing saga.
Us Weekly tried to get comments from the couple-Hudson, who’s 23, and Belichick, a seasoned 73-but as expected, there’s radio silence for now. Rosman’s investigation into Hudson’s life led her on quite the journey. She ventured to four different cities across two states, trying to piece together Hudson’s story. It’s said they first crossed paths on a plane back in 2021, long before Hudson publicly acknowledged their relationship last October after months of whispers and rumors.
Rosman’s trail took her to Bridgewater and Provincetown in Massachusetts, places with significant ties to Hudson. Her family moved to Provincetown during her high school years. Then came college at Bridgewater State University, where she snagged a national collegiate championship in cheerleading in 2021. Funny enough, when approached about Hudson, members of Bridgewater’s current cheer squad were tight-lipped-perhaps under some sort of code of silence?
Meanwhile, at Bridgewater State’s recent graduation ceremony at Gillette Stadium, Robert Hale Jr., the CEO of Granite Telecommunications, wasn’t shy about mentioning Hudson-and her famous beau. He joked about hoping for someone like Mike Vrabel or “the old, old, old one, Belichick,” which got quite the reaction from the audience. Those words linger; I guess humor can soften even the toughest rumors.
Belichick’s history with the Patriots-23 years and six Super Bowl wins-is no small feat. Though he switched gears by taking on a coaching role at the University of North Carolina last December. Since then, his relationship with Hudson has been subject to intense scrutiny. A particularly memorable moment happened during a CBS Sunday Morning interview when Hudson chimed in from off-camera as Belichick was asked about their first meeting.
Adding fuel to the fire, Pablo Torre dedicated an episode of his podcast “Pablo Torre Finds Out” to delve into their relationship. This deep dive led to accusations about Hudson’s age and rumors of her being banned from football facilities at UNC. But Carolina Athletics quickly denied those claims in a statement to Us Weekly, asserting that while Hudson isn’t employed by them, she has free access due to her work with Coach Belichick.
Lately, Belichick has been promoting his new book “The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football,” where he’s trying to shed light on their dynamic. On Good Morning America, he mentioned how crucial Hudson has been behind the scenes-handling business aspects so he can focus on football. He even gave her a nod in his book for keeping him grounded when he veered too far into football jargon.
“We have a good personal relationship,” he said plainly. In an age where private lives are scrutinized under public microscopes, maybe that’s all that needs saying for now.
